Marcos and Sofia are two thirty something friends from Barcelona that plans to make a film. But they don't have a penny and everyday life isn't glamorous at all. Marcos falls in love with a mysterious man he saw in the street.

La Maldita Primavera is a film starring the indiepop band "Papa Topo” and it’s about a reptilian sent to Earth to find out if humans pose a threat to the rest of the galaxy.
