Spain, 1939. In the last days of the Spanish Civil War, the young Carlos arrives at the Santa Lucía orphanage, where he will make friends and enemies as he follows the quiet footsteps of a mysterious presence eager for revenge.

When his father caught his 12-year-old son masturbating over a pornographic magazine, he does not punish him but he states: "If you do this fifty times - you will die". What will happen at the 50th?

The year is 1961. Jackie Bumbry has a black eye. Her house is full of police officers. Her husband, Terry, is being spoken to in the other room. A family counselor is brought in to speak with Jackie about her relationship with her husband - and how she is white and he is black. But all Mrs. Bumbry wants to talk about is the strange lights she and her husband saw last night.

A short comedy about people who sacrifice their happiness in search of a life and those who avoid their lives in search of happiness.
