Richard Kimble is falsely convicted of his wife's murder and given the death penalty. Then Came Bronson is an American adventure/drama television series produced by MGM Television and broadcast on NBC from 1969 to 1970. Created by Denne Bart Petitclerc, the series began with a feature-length pilot on March 24, 1969. It was greenlit for one year and began first run on September 17, 1969. Disillusioned reporter Jim Bronson quits his job and starts wandering the road on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle as a form of soul-searching. This TV show is based on the TRUE story of how Philbrick (played ably by Richard Carlson) could never relax, but had to sneak to secret cell meetings and meet FBI agents in clandestine places to make info drops, never knowing when he might be found out, and if he would live to see the next rendezvous.

Carl Dixon decides to quit school and enlist in the Army, even though he's already run afoul of the law as a Vietnam protestor. It is our hero's intention to use love, rather than bullets, to combat the Viet Cong. Needless to say, his idealism is no match for the harsher realities of war.

Cleo Moore stars as Mary Adams, whose first step on the road to ruin is a $25,000 robbery. Mary hides the money, then confesses to the crime, secure in the belief that she can dig up the loot upon her release from prison.
