The two cult cops from Valais have to deal with a simple sprayer case while the rest of the department has to solve the discovery of a charred body. At the same time, the Valais, nay, the whole world, is threatened with disaster and even the Pentagon, the US Department of Defense, is involved.

For years, Antonio, a bricklayer, has fudged the books and paid his employee Victor under the table, but Covid causes his system to collapse. While at first he still wants to blame the system for his misery, he finally has to realise that he can only save his friendship with Victor and his relationship with his wife if he finally takes responsibility for his actions.

Four European truckers meet at a rest area when news interrupt the cozy atmosphere: Italy has closed the borders for Eastern Europeans. Suddenly, two of the friends are unable to continue their journey. The search for a solution puts the group's strength to the test and the rest area becomes the center of European politics.

At a remote mountain lake a bound man with cemented shoes is being dragged to the water by two other men and his request for a coup de grace escalates into a clash.
