Biography
Curtiss Cook Jr is a Harlem school of the arts graduate, who starred in Sundance hit Gook, Ryan Koo's Amateur and Jay Dockendorf's Naz & Maalik among several others. His role in Chris Morris' The Day Shall Come is one of his proudest to date. In addition to his film accomplishments, A versatile actor, he gained his regional theater debut in Brownsville Song (b-side for tray) for The Long Wharf Theater and The Philadelphia Theater Company. Following this success, Curtiss made his Off-Broadway debut in the Classic Stage Company's production of Mother Courage and Her Children, and Parable of The Sower which gave him his debut at NY's Public Theatre. On television, his credits include Power, Bull, The Path, Orange is the New Black and a powerful role in NBC's Manifest. His upcoming role in Stephen King's The Stand miniseries for CBS is surely not to be missed. He is represented by Take 3 Talent Agency & Connecting Talent Company, along with Ingber & Associates for commercial rep.
