Six families in different compartments of a train, moving through a rainy night. In a single, 145-minute take, the film depicts the families and how their lives are interwoven with each other. Vacillating between dream and reality, each story builds on the one before and leads into the next. Each destiny is influenced by the other one on board, and all hurtle to the same destination.

Unfolding in real time via one take, four women travel to a mysterious island where a meteorite has recently fallen. Slowly, everything begins to change for the island's denizens, as the women uncover new truths.

The morning after a wedding ceremony the groom disappears, not seen since the night before. The bride, the groom's mother, the groom’s sister, and his lover, who came to the wedding uninvited, are looking for the reason for his disappearance. The next day, the women begin blaming each other as their relationships are put to the test.
