Aloko Udapadi is a Sinhalese epic historical film based on the story of King Valagamba of Anuradhapura (89 – 77 BCE).

Set in a chaotic village, the story explores a community deeply divided by class tensions, troubled marriages, and frequent clashes between local thugs and residents. The lives and secrets of these villagers ultimately revolve around a deep, hidden mystery buried within the walls of a prominent local manor house.

It's about how a youth named "Rush" find love and to what lengths he goes to keep it. He deceives his lover's family and sacrifice himself for the sake of the girl he loves. When the girl he loves has no clue who he is, and pretends to be the guy that girl's parents hoping to wed their daughter to. But takes a surprising twist at the point of discovery. 'Rush' who pretends to be 'Shan' is confronted by 'Shan' and hell breaks out. Pooja, the woman of his dreams is torn between her feelings for Rush and finding the truth. As she unravels the truth, she is challenged to face great grief and come to terms of what love can do to a person.

Vadeesha Devaminda Wickramanayaka is a highly creative and sensitive young music student in his school. Although he regains his life by returning the letter to Punya after 20 years by chance, she is now left with a feeling of void her life.

Maharaja Gemunu is based on the odyssey of King Gemunu (ruler of Sri Lanka 161–137 BC) who is renowned for defeating and overthrowing King Elara, the usurping Tamil prince from the Chola Kingdom, who had invaded the Kingdom of Rajarata in 205 BC.
