As the life of Charles of Habsburg is told since his arrival to Spain, it can be seen how the heir to the crowns of Germany, Burgundy, the Netherlands, the Free County, Artois, Nevers and Rethel, of the territories of the Crown of Aragon and its related Italian territories, and of the territories of the Catholic Monarchs in Castile, North Africa and the Americas, matures as a statesman and gets stronger in face of menaces around him and good and bad advice from his counselors.
In the harsh post-war years' Catalan countryside, Andreu, a child that belongs to the losing side, finds the corpses of a man and his son in the forest. The authorities want his father to be made responsible of the deaths, but Andreu tries to help his father by finding out who truly killed them. In this search, Andreu develops a moral consciousness against a world of adults fed by lies. In order to survive, he betrays his own roots and ends up finding out the monster that lives within him.

Gerardo Liesa is a young police inspector who has recently joined the UCRIF (the Central Unit for the Fight against Illegal Immigration Networks and Document Forgery). He and his colleague, Carmen Osés, sense that something is changing in brothels across Spain. Suizo and his associates run several brothels, sexually exploiting sex workers from all over the world. One of these women is Claudia. Aged 18, she has a young son in Colombia and has just arrived in Spain in search of a better future.
At a conference of dream interpretation, the lives of three people will become inescapably entangled: Beatriz, hired to do public relations for the conference; Alex, a writer for an Internet publication covering the event; and Natalia, an audience member whose revelation of her dream sets off a chain of events that brings together these three otherwise disparate characters. The Hidden is about those unseen, largely unknowable forces that seem to surround us and define our lives. Natalia’s dreams might be expressions of her fears and anxieties, but perhaps they could be messages from some beyond. For Beatriz, what’s “hidden” may be less supernatural than emotions she can barely express or control. Antonio Hernandez deftly navigates the lives and feelings of these three characters, gradually peeling away their self-deceptions and delusions until there’s a remarkable and unexpected final revelation.

Juanjo persuades the initially reluctant Tony that Laura will provide the couple with a perfect cover after they relieve their partners of the robbery's earnings. Unfortunately, though the robbery comes off without a hitch, the duplicitous Juanjo absconds with the cash, making Tony and Laura fugitives both from the law and from the psychotically angry Maxi and Moco.
Spain, fifties. In a town grew around a living factory Jorge (Tristan Ulloa), the youngest son of the founder, and Elisa (Laia Marull), daughter of accounting.
