Biography
Yorick was born in Flanders, Belgium in 1996. As a kid, he filmed comedy skits with friends around their neighborhood in Haaltert as well as Lego stop-motion animations. Besides film, he involved himself in poetry, photography, the local heavy metal music scene and playing football. In high school, Yorick studied Audio-Visual Arts at the Secundair Kunstinstituut (SKI) in Ghent, before becoming a student at the Royal Institute for Theatre, Cinema and Sound (RITCS) in Brussels, where he continued those same studies. In 2021 he graduated with a Masters degree in Writing after enrolling in fiction film, camera technique and writing courses.
