Albert Teixidó (Bert) travels to the island of Mallorca after receiving a mysterious letter from his childhood friend Bernardo, who disappeared months earlier in the Tramontana mountains. On the island, he searches for clues to locate his friend, clues that will lead him to reveal forgotten events from the past and coincidences from the present, provoking Bert's obsession with continuing the search. This all culminates in an obsessive and metaphorical initiatory journey into the unknown.
