Gerhana is a soap opera that aired on RCTI from 8 January 1999 to 14 February 2003, starring Pierre Rolland, Dina Lorenza, Peggy Melati Sukma, and Ruhut Sitompul.

Indah is an orphan who was raised by Kadir, her uncle. She works in a printing business helping her uncle. One day, Indah met Bobby, who was one of the customers. Gradually, from this introduction, attraction grew between Indah and Bobby. Indah, who was still innocent, was seduced by Bobby until she finally became pregnant. Retno, Kadir's wife, finds out that Indah is pregnant and then throws her out. Kadir and his daughter Ratih have tried to look for her but have been unsuccessful.

Centered around Ana, Hikmah invites viewers to surrender only to Allah and to be faithful in His path despite the trials. Behind all trials, there is definitely a lesson waiting. God gives trials to make humans stronger and closer to Him.

The “Maut Club” (Death Club) gang is led by Bing, nicknamed The Boss, and consists of kids. Some are rascals; some are just curious, while some are just bored. Harassing people on the street is what the group does. One day, there is a fight between Maut Club and the Harimau Lapar (Hungry Tiger) gang, during which Benyamin accidently shoots a policeman. Everyone is caught except for Boss and Benyamin. In prison, Vivi, who has rich parents, tries to commit suicide out of shame. She manages to get a house arrest instead, thanks to the efforts of Eddy Sud, a university student who lives with Vivi’s family. Boss and Benyamin come to the house and the latter confesses that he was the one who shot the policeman. Boss and Benyamin then turn themselves in to the police. The story ends with a farewell party for Vivi, who is going abroad to study. Boss sings a song titled “Kembali ke Jalan yang Benar” or “Returning to a Righteous Path”.

Tells the story of an orphaned young man who moved to Jakarta to try his luck and also to erase the memory of his girlfriend because their relationship was not approved. Because he helped a girl, the girl's father gave him a job until he became successful. Then he returned to his village as a successful person and finally married the girl of his dreams.

Cakra is a plain simpleton from the countryside. His father is a rich but a miserly man. While her mother is overprotective to Cakra because of his developmental disability. Knowing that Cakra's parents will do anything for their son, his old neighborhood friends who now lived in the city tries to squeeze some money from Cakra's family by persuading him to go to the big city to live with them. Now Cakra has to face his scheming friends and the alluring charms of the big city.

Tells the story of Nenny's friendship with Mamat, a school bus driver. Mamat, who feels that Nenny resembles his son who was lost during the revolution, quickly becomes close to her. Nenny also defends Mamat when he gets into trouble and is about to be fired.
