True story of thirteen totally normal young women that suffered harsh questioning and were put in prison under made up charges of helping the rebellion against Franco back in the 1940s. Despite of their innocence, the thirteen were soon executed without even a trace of evidence of any wrong doing.

Xabi, a troubled boy, meets Iñaki, a member of the terrorist gang ETA who becomes his mentor and ideological inspiration. Some time later, Xabi is arrested for throwing a Molotov cocktail and confined in a juvenile detention center, where he meets Joel, a Mexican, and Driss, a Moroccan, with whom he manages to flee and reach Madrid with the purpose of finding Iñaki and joining the gang.

Cristina is a young literature student who works at night in a bar, Rosa is a brilliant executive in his thirties, and Anna is married and has one son. All three are sisters, and every one thinks her life is worthwhile and that their sisters have taken the wrong way. But it is time to recognize their dissatisfaction, and perhaps they are needed more than they are willing to admit ...
