Indah is an orphan who was raised by Kadir, her uncle. She works in a printing business helping her uncle. One day, Indah met Bobby, who was one of the customers. Gradually, from this introduction, attraction grew between Indah and Bobby. Indah, who was still innocent, was seduced by Bobby until she finally became pregnant. Retno, Kadir's wife, finds out that Indah is pregnant and then throws her out. Kadir and his daughter Ratih have tried to look for her but have been unsuccessful.

Wulan was grabbed and assisted by Johan (George Rudy) then became a close friend. Wulan's men who were former prostitutes were kidnapped by his germ, but could escape. Then the story of the ups and downs on the ship faced by the sailor girls.

While on a hunting trip, Tias (Keke Hamzah) is bitten by a cobra. From then on out, strange and often life threatening things (being attacked by a crocodile, etc.) begin happening to both her and her boyfriend and they're pursued by a "tiger woman" (Malfin Shayna).

Gambler Kosim tries to hang himself but is saved by an old man, who then recommends he go visit a cave-dwelling hermit who knows black magic. There, Kosim learns a magic spell to transform himself into a pig. As a requirement, he has to sacrifice one of his children and he's not allowed to hear prayer nor see monkeys. He uses his new power to steal money until he's caught, shot and decapitated, but his head lives on.

After Tini catches her boyfriend Narno trying to seduce her sister Tina and ends their relationship, she mysteriously dies from a snakebite. Narno's mother then visits a shaman to place a curse on one of Tina's potential suitors. As all of that is going on, a mysterious murderer is lurking around bumping off other members of both Tina and Narno's families.

Tony loves singer Vina and helps financially support her even though she's already in a relationship. However, his jealousy eventually ends up getting the better of him and he accidentally causes Vina to crash her car and die. Her vengeful spirit later returns.
