Suro becomes obsessed with Ujung as a tool to take power over the village. His ambition stumbles when his daughter, Marni, falls in love with Kasan, an ordinary peasant from the same village.
The film tells a story about a family with six children. The father is often angry with everyone except the eldest child (Mieke Wijaya). Then the family situation deteriorates further when mother falls ill and is hospitalized. Finally, problems are solved thanks to the calmness and charm of the third sibling (Indriati Iskak).
Nina, becomes a bone of contention for her two male school friends. Unfortunately the two men had become victims of a misunderstanding. One is because of the carelessness of Nina's maid, while the other is because he sees a widower who is thought to be proposing to Nina. Zailani spends the money, and then, out of cheeky curiosity, returns the bag to Vera, who is a daughter of the famous lawyer, RM Kertodimejo. Hence, Zailani is offered a job as a driver. Soon love grows between Vera and Zailani. But Vera is already arranged to marry Hendro who is still studying in London and her respectable parents of course disapprove, so Zailani is fired. Vera becomes very ill as a result and Kertodimejo’s heart relents. Zailani, who has become a bus driver in Medan, is asked to return to Jakarta.
The title was taken from a popular Minang folk-song by Gumarang Orchestra, conducted by Asbon. This film was not released.

The two children run away from home, looking for their father, and are separated for a time. When Yuwono is proven innocent and is released, he does not find his children at home and goes around Jakarta to look for them. He finally finds them again.
Two businessmen, Burhan and Benny, are rivals and Burhan hires Joko, an ex-convict who is trying to reform. Joko is asked to investigate Benny, through Leila, a hostess that Benny usually goes to. But then Joko and Leila fall in love and things do not go as planned. A accident happens and Leila is shot by Joko. Burhan dies in a car accident while Benny runs away out of the country. The reason of enmity between Burhan and Benny is unclear, nor that of Leila’s role, who knows so much about Benny’s secrets.

The husband, Arifin, realizes his bad behavior and divorces his second wife, Sandra, to go back and live with his first wife, Tati. Sandra is vengeful about the one-sided divorce. She asks for the shaman’s help, to use black magic to destroy Arifin’s family. Chaos ensues in the family, including during a wedding reception of the son. At a critical moment, a savior arrives.

Later, he resigns when he can’t get along with the investor, a beautiful rich widow, Lukitaningsih, who wants to gain personal profit from the co-op. As a result, he also quarrels with his lover, Pijah, and her father, Misral. Samsu then becomes a fisherman. Lukitaningsih tries to lure Samsu and the co-op to bull racing, which is one of Samsu’s skills. Seeing her efforts, Lukitaningsih’s driver, Dani, is envious and instigates Mahmud, against Samsu. Meanwhile, Misral and Pijah begin to understand Samsu so they change the co-op to the way that Samsu wants it to be, and they reconcile. Meanwhile, Mahmud loses the bull race and his carok challenge is answered with a friendly handshake instead.
Nanang’s father leaves to study abroad thus Nanang and his mother live with his grandfather. Nanang is often teased by children of his age, so he prefers to play with his aunt, Lilis, who wants to be a singer. Grandfather does not approve of this, and gets angry when he finds out that Lilis will have a recording on national radio. Lilis is forbidden to sing again. But when grandfather listens to Lilis’ song on the radio, he is touched. When Nanang’s father returns, his friends stop teasing him.
