Suro becomes obsessed with Ujung as a tool to take power over the village. His ambition stumbles when his daughter, Marni, falls in love with Kasan, an ordinary peasant from the same village.
A village is being terrorized by an evil spirit called Kuyang or Nenek Grondong, which especially loves sucking blood from infants and pregnant women. That all coincides with a couple adopting a child that turns on them and becomes vicious and evil.
A nurse begins working at a retirement home and soon after the residents start turning up dead.
Thanks to the success of the film "Crisis", produced by Perfini, there is a tendency to make similar stories. There are no main characters in this film, except for the somewhat prominent ones, namely the patient teacher (A. Hamid Arief) and his talkative wife (Tina Melinda). It also depicts the lives of several families in a house like in "Crisis".
An evil wizard unleashes a legion of worms on an innocent village. These worms can burrow into the skin and take control of the person. Later in the film, the infected people become sex-crazed zombies and then an army to help protect the evil magician from a good wizard.
A diamond mine in the village is the source of competition between Kosim and Dorman, who are the first ones to find it. They hope to win the position as head of the village. Dorman believes that the soul of his ancestor, Alberto Dominique, who is buried there, will help him achieve his ambition.
Greedy characters attempt to use black magic to get their hands on a valuable estate. It works out about as well as you'd guess.
Teacher Prapto (Rd Sukarno) helped build the nation by educating the people on a mountain slope in Central Java. One day the mountain erupted, the people fled. Lasmijah (Risa Umami) left her daughter Yati to follow her husband, Prapto. In fact, Prapto rushed home. Prapto only met Yati, and then lived in his hometown, Salatiga. There he met Sutinah (Tina Melinda), then married her. Meanwhile, Lasmijah, who was disabled, looked for Prapto and Yati.
There is a robbery in a village far from the city, and the robbers not only steal, they also kill. Yanti is raped and is taken to Jakarta. Both her parents and her younger sibling are murdered by the robbers. Rachman, who really loves Yanti, finds her in a night club. Although she has become a prostitute, Rachman still loves her. They escape the brothel and marry in the village. Yanti receives martial arts lesson from Rachman’s grandfather and decides to take revenge on the robbers and the pimp who trapped her in prostitution. With numerous tactics and great fights, Yanti and Rachman manage to defeat the criminals and the pimp.
A battle of black magic, revenge, death and assorted Indonesian weirdness occurs between Arifin, his first wife Tati, his second wife Sandra and playboy Anton, who is after Arifin's wealth (and Sandra). Two different shamans (one good and one evil) become involved in the jacked up love triangle.
In the Islamic tradition, when a person is buried and the binding of their cover cloth is not released, the dead will become a ‘pocong’ ghost (mythical ghost of the dead who can jump around). Another belief is that if you have unpaid debts, a cat will jump over your dead body and you’ll become a ghost. Joyoprono, a rich landlord and a loan shark, who was greedy during his life dies when a tree falls on him. After his death, a ‘pocong’ ghost comes to the village and disturbs the peace.
Lies, a 17-year-old student, is forced to marry Madun, an aging and wealthy man, as a way to repay her mother's debts. Her heart actually belongs to Jack, the son of a rich businessman from the same village, who now works in Jakarta. After giving up her rebellion, Lies finally agrees—with several conditions: the marriage must take place in the capital, and Madun has to comply with all her demands. The husband, Arifin, realizes his bad behavior and divorces his second wife, Sandra, to go back and live with his first wife, Tati. Sandra is vengeful about the one-sided divorce. She asks for the shaman’s help, to use black magic to destroy Arifin’s family. Chaos ensues in the family, including during a wedding reception of the son. At a critical moment, a savior arrives.

At the Jakarta Fair, there is a rumour that a major tycoon from Makassar will come looking for new machines and a business partner. There is a flurry of excitement as everyone tries to get the tycoon’s employees to drop by their stands. Mansur, one of business owners in the fair, asks his secretary, Sinta, to find Andi Rachmat Syah, the tycoon. Sinta then approaches Andi, a handsome man employed by the tycoon, to find out about his boss. The man promises to tell Sinta on one condition, that she has to take him around the fair. Samiaji, Mansur’s business competitor, who has a crush on Sinta, is jealous when he finds out about it. Till the end of the story, nobody knows that Andi takes Sinta home after nights of going around the Jakarta Fair.
