Ana, a young Spanish woman from a bourgeois family, is about to finish her studies and get married, but she is not happy. After a very unlikely event happens, her life turns around and everything changes.

Alma is a young ambitious woman working in her own small company in Barcelona. She is happy in life but constantly dreams of a bigger project that she could work on together with her friends. A project that would bring in their first million. The opportunity finally arises and they buy an old building with a plan to renovate it into luxury apartments. But how to get rid of old tenants without hurting their feelings and without losing your own morals? Furthermore, how to survive from a free fall when you lose all you have? Alma de Sant Pere is a film about dreams, friendships and human values.

Lluc, a former academic with strong cultural ties, and Olli, a man who drifted from Finland to the streets of Barcelona, meet while seeking shelter in the same stairwell. Their beginnings are modest, but gradually a connection develops between them, based not on pity but on shared humanity.

Spain 2012. As many other people of their generation, Ana and Iván are going to buy a new flat in the suburbs of the city, which is still under construction. They go there with Ana’s parents in order to know their opinion before buying it. Despite of all the dreams set on this new stage of their lives, Ana doubts if this is really the life she wants. Will she be brave enough to run away or will she have to accept her fate of "correction and normality"?
