Each card expresses a different perspective on the experience of women in this patriarchal society.

Following the 1973 coup, Clea's family had to leave Chile. Her mother ends up living in Costa Rica and her uncle in Germany. Both built their lives in exile, always with an open wound. The unexpected contact of a German cousin is the catalyst that leads Clea to take a trip to Chile and discover the family past.
