The teams eventually dissolve and the elimination process continues until the last contestant standing wins a grand prize of $100,000.

The series is a gritty ensemble drama about the off-field lives of a group of players on a pro football team and how they deal with the pressure of being on the professional level.

They slip in and out of characters so often that, sometimes, they lose track of who they really are.
