Family doctor Maja Križaj relocates with her family from Ljubljana to the rural village of Velika vas after her husband’s financial collapse. Though the setting seems idyllic, the countryside reveals unexpected challenges. The series blends everyday struggles with warmth, humor, and romantic entanglements.

The stories narrated by the film bring together individuals all over the world, spanning over sixty years and thus symbolically covering the approximate period of a single human life. Each of the stories is based on true accounts and events, summed up from newspaper articles, statements, and media announcements. Through internal monologues the collage makes up a whole which transcends any individual story.

When Alma discovers that her father’s company plans to demolish the playground, she gets determined to save green areas. Alma has no choice but to join forces with her worst enemies – Luna’s skate gang.

The film tells the story of young people in their early 30s; it speaks of their past and present romantic relationships and their attempts to find their way in life, one based on true feelings and decisions. Rather than well-set relations, which obstruct the vital flow of life, it seeks a direct contact with the world and other people.

A spaceship travels into the unknown through distant space. Due to the theory of relativity the metabolism of the crew is very slow in their time only 30 years have passed, but a millennium has gone by in the Earth time. During their voyage the computer reveals a secret, the crew is only a metabolic time measuring device. The ship flies close to the speed of light, and due to the contraction effect the duration of the flight cannot be established in any other way but with the length of human life.

In a block of flats at the edge of town the local children enjoy playing basketball in their courtyard. When their grumpy neighbor confiscates their basketball the children decide to go on an elaborate rescue mission to retrieve it.

The film is a drama about three, four memories in one night that three, four (the fourth is physically absent, but no less present at the same time) spend together, with no obligations, free of all bonds, as the night before they finished all relationships. The story in the film is happening from the morning, where/when the film starts until the night of the previous day, where/when the film ends. Everything that happens in the film is about what happened before that, before the beginning (end) of the film, when we, the spectators, entered the story, just like we were a substitution for the Fourth after his disappearance. The film is a story about remembering, three views in the same night that are trying to review its variety. The film turns the memories into dreams and reflects the surrealism of our own memories and realities.
