Dueña y Señora is a Puerto Rican telenovela based on La Dueña. It is produced by Telemundo Puerto Rico and Puerto Rico Vibra Inc., which intends to market it to the United States' Spanish-speaking residents as well.

After completing a 6 year conviction, Erick Montalvo gets rehabilitated into society and decides to start a family with his wife Michelle. Among many situations and economic problems, their lives become unbearable. Their child, born prematurely and with several conditions, requires a surgery costing more than $120,000. Out of desperation, Erick loses control and decides to do one last job that takes him “back to the beginning”.

Kacho and Manolo will have to put their differences aside in order to pay their $150,000 debt to a mobster in three days.

The story of Andrés, a heavyweight boxer preparing for a big match. It turns out, Andrés has a medical problem, which could kill him if he continues boxing. Mariano, his manager, refuses to tell him about his condition and lets Andrés continue his training.

Manolo and Kacho thought they had escaped all the dangers of doing illegal business, but they were wrong.
