Commissioner Leon (Miguel Angel Landa) investigates the murder of a woman in a population near the capital. The woman was raped before death and the case is complicated when his brother becomes the prime suspect, since it is a priest (Eduardo Serrano). Because of the implications that inquiries might have, Leon is pressured to keep the event as a "crab" (Cangrejo, or a unsolvable case), but he decides to comply with the law.

Lily tells the story of two prostitutes who live on the side of a road, running a humble house that is frequented by truck drivers and people from neighboring towns.

According to its author, Mom's chicken soup is based on a recipe for six people: one small chicken, two onions, two cloves of garlic, one carrot, three cups of milk, two potatoes, one tablespoon of cornstarch, and salt and pepper to taste. Mrs. Maite is making chicken soup in her kitchen, and next to her, on a television set, a strange character (Francisco) is seen struggling with windows and doors, determined to enter a house. In ten minutes, Castillo recounts, two actions are described that ultimately complement each other, as the outcome is disconcerting.
