The Guldbagge Award-winning Min börda led to success and recognition. Now she has won so many awards that they no longer fit on the shelves at home. In Joanna Karlberg and Tove Palén’s documentary, we get to enter the model studio and witness everyday situations that are transformed into great art in a small format.

On the outskirts of a Swedish semi-large city is an area for temporary housing called Mosippan. Children and adults live there in barracks while waiting to move to a permanent home, but many end up staying for several years. A documentary about the lives of four friends living in Mosippan, and their work with their own action packed short film.

In a support group for mothers of so-called school refusers, experiences are shared of losing one’s footing, struggling against adversity, and drowning in the effort to get their children back to school. Visual representations of the participants’ fears and inner imagery take us from the discussion room to everyday situations that quickly escalate.
