Evan Scott Russell is an award-winning entertainment creative. He was named a "student to watch" by Variety Magazine at the time of his graduation from The University of North Carolina School of the Arts, School of Filmmaking. His gun-control film, Helpless (2013) premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. The Roma Project (2015) was licensed by Gunpowder & Sky for their science-fiction VOD streaming platform "Dust".
