Bassie & Adriaan is a Dutch circus and TV duo who take children of all ages on adventures into their world of jokes, excitement, and adventure. Fun jokes, excitement with crooks, and educational adventures and trips through the Netherlands, Europe, and America provide timeless viewing pleasure for young and old alike.

25-year-old Michael has been released from prison after a five-year sentence. He moves into a big apartment block, filled with young women who gladly have sex with him.

Amateur dirt-bikers Rien and Hans–and their mechanic Eef–each fall in love with Fientje, a young woman who, with her brother Jaap, works a concession stand at the races. Everyone seeks a better life: Fientje wants out of the business and away from Jaap; and Rien and Hans aim to make their marks as pro racers, like their hero, Gerrit Witkamp.

Bassie and Adriaan have a diamond named after them. Escaped from prison, diamond thieves B1 and B2 attempt to steal it, dressing as Bassie and Adriaan. The actual Bassie and Adriaan are given three days to prove their innocence.

Bassie and Adriaan find themselves abandoned by their own circus because they overslept, and with no tour-schedule in sight or any money they're forced to take other jobs -- losing each one. A malicious 'poltergeist' turns out responsible for their misery.

Bassie and Adriaan take a well-earned holiday but find themselves chased by two diamond thieves, referred to as B1 and B2. The crooks mistake Bassie for the go-between who came to collect the key to the vault of the stolen diamonds.

Painter Peter Hartman is arrested at the scene of a murder. He soon turns out to have ties to the victim's young widow. As Inspector Stroomer begins to unravel the mystery, two very different sides of the story are presented to him. Now it is up to Stroomer to find enough photographic evidence to make out which version is the truth.
