This off-beat series follows the exploits of the Bush Mechanics, a group of engaging Aboriginal characters, as they travel through central Australia. Combining adventure, magic, realism and a distinctive brand of humour, Bush Mechanics provides an insight into both contemporary and traditional Aboriginal culture.

RODEO ROAD explores the unique cowboy culture of Australia's remote north west in the pursuit of the rodeo dream - eight seconds of bull riding glory. Each year cowboys from across the Kimberley load up their saddles, chaps and wranglers and go rough-riding. Some are born and bred in the saddle, while others are young ringers from over east who come to muster through the dry season. Come rodeo time they are chasing the dream, gripped by the rodeo fever of the wild north west.

In 1928, following the murder of a white dingo trapper, central Australia would witness the last known massacre of its Indigenous people. With over one hundred killed during a series of punitive expeditions, those who survived fled far and wide from the massacre sites. Denied a voice at the official inquiry and dislocated from their lands, the survivors passed down the story of this bloody episode to their children and grandchildren.

After their car shows signs of trouble in the middle of nowhere, four men must use their skill in 'bush repair' to make it back to town.

Inspired by the legendary live action series of the same name, Bush Mechanics is the story of four Warlpiri men on a journey to visit a powerful elder. As they drive across the desert they must overcome mechanical trouble and the tricks of a cheeky Munga Munga spirit. It will take all of their bush skills to keep their car running and themselves alive.
