Murders in... is a collection of French-Belgian police TV movies taking place each time in a different French city and region.
Two teenagers secretly meet up in the forest, only to witness a blood bath. They are seen, but escape trying to keep this as a secret, both in fear of the perpetrator and that their secret is revealed.
They are possessive, benevolent, clumsy, absent, omnipresent, overwhelmed, guilty, indulgent, loving, fragile, in full possession of their wits, or losing their heads. Alive or already a memory. They are mothers, and it’s their party.
A private detective, Assoud the Buffalo, feels lonely and is heading for deep depression at the beginning of the Parisian summer. Lucy, a friend, organises a mysterious meeting for him on the banks of the Canal St Martin.
The story hones in on Mia, a 25-year-old Parisian who works in a nail bar on Rue des Dames. Unbeknownst to her employer and in exchange for money, she arranges access, for some of the salon’s female clients, to sought-after parties attended by high-profile footballers…
60-something Henri meets 50-something Lila, and sparks fly - until they both must reconcile their very different lives and backgrounds.
