The tv show follows the story of a Bulgarian couple - Sylvia and Martin. They are together for eleven years but are not married. They have a lot of differences but always manage to iron out all the problems.

The series presents intertwined human destinies in a hospital environment in Bulgaria in the 1990s, where the personal dramas of medical specialists collide with the tense everyday life and difficult moral choices. Against the backdrop of the social turmoil of the transition, secrets, criminal connections and the consequences of decisions that leave a lasting mark on the lives of the characters are revealed.

Schoolmates who graduated in 1989 in Bulgaria gather at a small hotel in the Rhodope mountain to celebrate their 30th high school anniversary. What is supposed to be a festive event turns into painful experience as old secrets and trauma still haunt them. The sum of their life experiences, their unfulfilled dreams and current goals reflect the upheavals of the post-communist society during the 30 years after the fall of the Berlin wall.

Kalin (35) is a talented advertising specialist, weary of life. Bilyana (35) is a free spirit, still uncertain of what she wants. They grew up in Socialist Bulgaria, where they were part of a mad group of friends, for whom every day was a different adventure. Childlike, they had a pact to get married. The two of them meet 25 years later.
