Six Latinos traveling to the United States for different reasons soon find themselves immersed in the most ridiculous and embarrassing situations. From an inexperienced boy traveling as an exchange student to a naive actress trying to make it in Hollywood, each of them will experience unexpected adventures that will make them question whether leaving their country was the best decision.

The Zuquillos are four women who have worked for several years in a popular grocery market in the city of Quito, a place where they have cultivated a great friendship. One day, the entire market collapses due to its dire conditions, leaving the main characters without a place of work and in an agonizing situation about their future. So Charo decides to migrate to the United States, where his sister lives, but they deny him a visa at the American consulate. Desperate, she goes to a smuggler and asks him to make her enter the northern country illegally to achieve the American dream.
