Biography
Joe is a Brooklyn-based writer, director, producer, and editor from Providence, Rhode Island. His work is typically colorful, energetic, authentic, and comedic. His films have been honored at places like the Proof Film Festival, The College Emmys, Flicker’s Rhode Island, Show Me Shorts, LA Shorts, Dances With Films, Miami, Catalina, Sidewalk, and Denver Film Festivals, among others. Joe’s latest short, MY KIND OF PEOPLE, won the top prize at the 2024 Russo Brothers’ Italian American Filmmaker Forum. In 2025, Joe won Gold at the Young Director Award in Cannes Lions. Joe is repped by Thruline Entertainment.
