Portrays the preparations for the Central American and Caribbean Games in Ponce and other host cities of 1993; the opening ceremony, various sports competitions, life in the Villa, cultural activities, support from the people, the profiles of several of the most outstanding athletes, opinions of organizers, and nostalgia of parting.

This documentary explores how art and beauty serve as a path to recovery and social contribution in the lives of four Puerto Rican artists diagnosed with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Those living with these conditions are often stigmatized, as their circumstances—which are not their choice—affect how they cope with daily life and integrate into society.

Through interviews, this documentary details the history of this island and graphically shows the hardship imposed on the community by the continued bombardment of Vieques by the U.S. Navy. The film also highlights the efforts waged by the residents against this injustice.
