Biography
Aleksander Underhaug Serigstad (born 1985 in Kristiansand) is a Norwegian film director, screenwriter, author and composer with formal film education from Lillehammer University College. He completed a master’s degree in Film and Television Studies in 2012, with a thesis on Norwegian director Bredo Greve, alongside creating the documentary Bredo Greve - Filmrebell. Serigstad is also known for his work with Filmjunkiene, a Norwegian YouTube duo reviewing B-movies, and co-hosting The Filmquiz in Oslo. He founded the podcast Norsk kultfilm in 2021, with his grandfather Kristian Serigstad Jensen, exploring Norwegian cult films through interviews with known and obscure figures from Norwegian filmindustry.
