On September 14, 1998, a Hollywood Squares revival debuted with Tom Bergeron as its host. In addition to her production duties, Whoopi Goldberg served as the permanent center square, with series head writer Bruce Vilanch, Gilbert Gottfried, Martin Mull, and Caroline Rhea as regular panelists and Brad Garrett, Bobcat Goldthwait, Jeffrey Tambor, George Wallace, Kathy Griffin and various others as semi-regular panelists. Shadoe Stevens returned to announce, although he was not given a square on the panel as he had been when John Davidson was host.

L.A. Law is an American television legal drama series that ran for eight seasons on NBC from September 15, 1986, to May 19, 1994. Created by Steven Bochco and Terry Louise Fisher, it contained many of Bochco's trademark features including a large number of parallel storylines, social drama and off-the-wall humor. It reflected the social and cultural ideologies of the 1980s and early 1990s, and many of the cases featured on the show dealt with hot-topic issues such as abortion, racism, gay rights, homophobia, sexual harassment, AIDS, and domestic violence. The series often also reflected social tensions between the wealthy senior lawyer protagonists and their less well-paid junior staff. I Love the New Millennium, the latest entry into the I Love the... series, is a nostalgia show focusing on the 2000s and premiered on VH1 Monday, June 23, 2008. Each night, from Monday to Thursday, two of the eight episodes premiered, corresponding to the years from 2000 to 2007. As the series aired in 2008, it did not include episodes for the years 2008 or 2009. Episodes for those years never came to fruition, as the series has since been abandoned.

Drew Carey's Green Screen Show is an improvisational comedy television series that aired in the fall of 2004 on The WB Television Network, and the fall of 2005 on Comedy Central. The show was hosted by Drew Carey, and was somewhat a follow-up to the show he formerly hosted, Whose Line Is It Anyway?. The distinguishing feature of the show was that the improv games were performed in front of a "green screen", with animation, music and sound effects inserted in post-production. The show was otherwise very similar to Whose Line? and featured many of the same performers and games. On an appearance on Late Night with Conan O'Brien when "Green Screen" premiered, Carey claimed that he got the idea during the Whose Line? game "Moving people" when he thought how funny it would be if you could not see the people manipulating the players. The show's theme song was La Trampa, performed by Tonino Carotone and Manu Chao and the show's underscore was composed by Michael A. Levine.

Trust Us with Your Life is an American improvisational comedy television series, based on the BBC Two program Fast and Loose. It premiered on ABC on July 10, 2012. It is hosted by Fred Willard and stars comedians Wayne Brady, Colin Mochrie, and Jonathan Mangum, with rotating performers that include Greg Proops, Craig Cackowski, Brad Sherwood, Nicole Parker, and Josie Lawrence. Each week they act out scenes in the lives of guest celebrities. Serena Williams, Ricky Gervais, Jerry Springer, Florence Henderson, Mark Cuban, Jack and Kelly Osbourne, David Hasselhoff and Jane Seymour have so far appeared. At least eight episodes have been filmed thus far in London, England. The show is currently on hiatus due to ratings competition with larger events, such as the 2012 Olympic Games. Previously, reports claimed that the show was not cancelled. However, 12 months on, no further episodes had been aired.
