Lorca, a great Spanish poet, playwright, and theatre director. García Lorca achieved international recognition as an emblematic member of the Generation of '27. He was executed by Nationalist forces at the beginning of the Spanish Civil War. Nickolas Grace gives a fabulous interpretation in the title role and he even bears a remarkable resemblance to Lorca.

In September 1845, a devastating new plant disease swept across Ireland, destroying the potato crops on which the majority of the people depended. Aid from the British government was too little and too late. Over the subsequent six years, a million Irish people died of starvation and a more than a million others fled abroad in order to escape the ravages of hunger and disease.

Three irresponsible teenagers borrow a yacht belonging to the local Sea Scouts and run out of fuel. They hoist the sail in an endeavour to stop the boat drifting on to the notoriously dangerous Bradda Head, but find themselves in even greater trouble in the shape of a sea-mine.

Another kind of biography, one that unravels the mysteries of Dalí, the conflicts with himself and with the characters with whom he had greater emotional involvement: his father, his sister Ana María, Gala and Lorca. They lead us to a Dalí from different eras.

Film travels through Las Hurdes and the Residencia de Estudiantes to build the portrait of Ian Gibson, author of the biographies of Buñuel, Dalí and Lorca. The journey ends in Granada, where, after a 50-year search, Gibson is closer than ever to finding Lorca's remains as a symbol of reconciliation in a country that is reluctant to make peace with its past.
