During the 80´s the left wing movement Alfaro Vive Carajo operated in Ecuador. The traits of this aggrupation were: critique to the orthodox political thinking, frantic growth of the organization, spectacular and clever actions, and the devastating way that the government fought them. A quarter of century later, the survivors tale the story that was hidden and disguised.

Agustín escaped to the moor to finish his thesis, he spends his days writing, feeding himself and giving small walks through a place covered by scrubland, steep cliffs and abyss that remain hidden behind an almost permanent fog. Everything changes when Lucía and her boyfriend Santiago arrive and set up their tent next to Augustín’s. What began as a few quiet days in the countryside gradually become a silent nightmare.

The documentary portrays the everyday way of life of a group of young people from Quito, who being fans of hardcore and for different personal reasons decided to become Straight Edge. The Straight Edge is an urban culture, young people who together or separately make the decision not to consume psychotropic substances, alcohol or tobacco.

Raul Lara, an Ecuadorian luthier, works around seven months in the construction of each instrument. Sometimes staying for four consecutive months inside his workshop, place in which time and space are surreal. The guitar becomes alive and receives its soul in here.
