Male and female contestants compete for "each other" in romance games. For example guests have to dance in order to impress the person they are after. Contestants are artists, actors, models, comedians, and MCs of the South Korean entertainment industry.

Celebrity guests are split into two teams to compete in various contests. One guest, known only to himself, is designated the "X-Man", and does his best to cause his team to lose the contests. At the end, all guests try to determine the X-Man's identity.

Nam Shin is a son from a family who runs a large company. After an unexpected accident, he falls into a coma. His mother Oh Ro-Ra is an authority on brain science and artificial intelligence. Gi-Ju's father tries to force his son to marry Moon Yun-A (Oh Joo-Eun) the daughter of an influential politician and she exhausts every means to make this happen. As the family secret involving Gi-Ju's and Soo-Hyeok is disclosed, the relationship between Tae-Young and Gi-Ju is in crisis.

Beyond simply reversing the gender roles and substituting a female for the male main character from the original film, My Boss, My Hero, this drama deals with the serious issues of personal growth and family relationships in contemporary society through its comedic approach to gangsters and the three main characters' growing friendship.
