In a war against evil, the White Force and the Black Force have a Golden Seal Battle every five years. Each force selects five people to represent its community. Whichever side wins the battle has control of the wuxia world for the next five years. However, over the years, the Black Force has become more evil than before, and their goal evolved to destroy all good to allow evil to control the world. When the selected five representatives from the White Force are suddenly killed, its members are forced to find replacements.

Although D.I.E had been dissolved and the officers returned to their previous departments, their odd habits continue to follow them, resulting in many troubles for the police force. Dr. Ko Lap-yan heads a team of senior psychiatrists and residents at the Yan Wo Hospital in Hong Kong. Most episodes revolve around the team diagnosing patients. With a specialty at diagnosing criminals, Ko also has close ties with the Serious Crime Unit of the Hong Kong Police Force, a unit headed by Senior Inspector Chung Kwon-ban. The second series sees Ko's resignation from the Yan Wo Hospital; he is later transferred to a new psychiatric department, the Forensics Psychiatry Department, of Bok On Hospital, where he formally diagnoses criminals.

Legend of the Demigods is a TVB fantasy-adventure-comedy TV series starring Sunny Chan, Linda Chung, Benny Chan, Halina Tam, Stephen Au, Nancy Wu and Charmaine Li. The ending theme song Fat Sai is performed by Linda Chung and can be found in the Lady in Red album. It was first broadcast in August 2008.
