An annual award ceremony presented by MTV to honor the best in the music video medium.

For the first time ever, the Museum of Pop Culture's highly-anticipated Founders Award annual fundraiser event will be free to the public, streaming online Tuesday, December 1 as MoPOP honors Seattle's own Alice in Chains. The one-night-only benefit will be broadcast virtually beginning at 6 p.m. PT featuring unforgettable performances by Alice in Chains, as well as an acclaimed lineup of musicians who will put their own twist on some of the band's most iconic songs.

Queensryche's massively popular concept album "Operation: Mindcrime" -- which tells the story of a junkie hit man -- comes to life in this rousing theatrical performance from 1991. Singer Geoff Tate is in fine voice as the progressive hard rockers rip through "I Remember Now," "Anarchy-X," "Speak," "Spreading the Disease," "The Mission," "Suite Sister Mary," "The Needle Lies" and more. Also included is an interview with Tate.

Queensrÿche performed in Tokyo on August 5, 1984, at the Nippon Seinenkan for their "The Warning Tour". The original recording was broadcast on MTV and radio at the time. It was officially released on VHS and Laserdisc in 1985.

Compilation of music videos for the US heavy metal band Queensrÿche's classic 1988 concept album Operation: Mindcrime about disillusioned Nikki, brainwashed by sinister Dr. X to kill for him. Nikki falls for one of his targets - nun Mary.

This compilation of music videos, concert clips and commentary will have Queensryche fans rockin' the house. Packed with videos from the "Empire" album, the program also features sessions from MTV's "Unplugged" and live performance footage. Alternate versions of "Eyes of a Stranger" and "Another Rainy Night" coupled with band member interviews reveal the creative range of these iconoclastic heavy metal performers.
