A comedy narrating the adventures of ten Puerto Ricans looking for a better life. The film centers on an airplane trip to New York during 1960's. It relates in a comical, yet poignant manner, the array of reasons each of the passengers has for leaving Puerto Rico and the challenges they face as suggested by the interactions of the Anglo crew and the passengers.

Gabi Padilla lives a life of pleasure and independence. But after her mother's unexpected death, she is forced to return to her rural hometown—a place where Gabi's sensual flair is not welcome.

Roberto is presented with a very unusual situation in his life: a date with the girl he likes.

Tita is a 12 year old girl that takes care of her little brothers because her mother is an alcoholic. She is being sexually abused by her mother's boyfriend, who is a great man in the eyes of everybody in the neighborhood. This particular day she takes matters in her owns hands.

This entirely puertorican short film talks about how Nando, a stressed and anxious young adult goes on his first date with Laura, a girl he barely knows. Once the date begins, things start to go wrong. Not knowing what to do, the two end up stuck at a gas station having to make an effort to turn their date around.
