Three forty-year-olds friends, hockey player and football players, decide to end their sports careers at the same time. All three find themselves at the beginning of a new life and must choose the path they will take.
Jakub and Dominika enter an abandoned prison to have sex. During a freak storm, they are moved in time for about fifty years, when the prison was still in use. Taken for American spies, they are imprisoned, interrogated and brutally tortured.

Adam and Eva's marriage is also going through a crisis, but so far they have managed to hide it from their children Aničkou and Tadeáš, or Nyny and Dydyn. Tokár arrives in the village with his daughters Dragica and Štěpánka – Šmudla – and tries to fit into everyday life in Lukov.
