Jirō Tamiya was born on 25 August 1935 in Kyoto City, Japan. He was an actor and producer, known for Miyamoto Musashi (1973), 3000 kiro no wana (1971) and Kuro no tesuto kâ (1962). He was married to Yukiko Fuji. He died on 29 December 1978 in Tokyo, Japan.
