I used the films of clouds taken by meteorologist researchers in 1965. Looking down? Or looking up? The existence of the universal clouds that go back and forth between the past and the present. Smooth movement of the cloud visualized by interval shooting. This is an experiment on the relation between « work » and « data ». It was exhibited at Hokkaido University Museum.

A time capsule from 30 years ago was opened in my hometown of Toyokoro. Memories are reconstructed from my essay at the age of 10, which I do not remember at all, and videotapes that bring back the breath of nostalgic people, encouraging me to live in the present, a strange time. – M.S.
