In a country where plush dolls live as second-class citizens, a community fed up with being left on the shelf decides to organize. Between neighborhood cafes, shady laundromats, and bottled activism, FELP (Spectacular Front for Furry Freedom) is born, a movement that fights for rights as basic as political representation and access to clothes dryers with a "Delicates" setting. In this world where the main crime is being made of fur, there are power struggles, furry intrigue, doll trafficking, and conspiracy theories linking the Templars to Manzarra's success. Throughout the episodes, we will follow the journey of this group of dolls who only wanted to be treated with respect, but end up being tried in court.
Álvaro and Maria do Carmo lived happily in Angola. He was a successful businessman and she was a mild mannered housewife. They have two children together, Ana and João, who were studying and living their teenage years in Luanda... Until the day the civil war broke out and everything fell apart. Amidst declarations of independence, a wave of violence breaks out and the established peace and order fades away. In July, 1975, the Mendonça family, along with over five hundred thousand people, leave their belongings behind and embark on an air convoy that would become the biggest exodus in the history of the Portuguese people to a homeland that most only knew from photos and dubbed it Metropolis. In Lisbon, Joaquim and Natália, Álvaro’s brother-in-law and sister, take the Mendonça family in their small apartment, where they will try to get their lives back in order. However, over that hot summer of 1975, the integration seemed to be far from easy.

Inside, the Government’s chief, Marcelo Caetano, waited, surrounded by the military and the people. The man who stared at him that afternoon and demanded surrender, guaranteeing his safety, had just led Santarém’s Artillery 1 regiment in taking the capital. Without firing a single shot, he managed to overthrow a regime that was over 48 years old. That was the last step to take and he took it, without hesitation, becoming the unavoidable figure of the day that marked the beginning of democracy in Portugal.

Maria da Luz waits for her husband who got lost somewhere in Angola during the war. With no news, she finds herself surrounded by families that, like her, desperately long for some kind of hope regarding their loved ones fighting abroad. She takes the matter in her hands and starts tape recording loving messages from each mother, wife and other family members. Carrying the tapes, she travels to Angola and personally delivers these messages to each and every soldier in a personal quest right in the middle of a country in war.

The only one capable of stopping this victory is a man who fought his whole life against Estado Novo. Arrested dozens of time, deported and exiled, he was one of the first to arrive in Lisbon after April 25st. That man is Mário Soares.
