It tells the story of a slave rebellion on a sugar plantation in the days leading up to the official abolition of slavery on the island on March 22, 1873.

El show de las 12 is a Puerto Rican midday variety television series airing on WKAQ-TV, and later on the nationwide Telemundo network, and hosted by Eddie Miro for most of its run. It aired every week-day for 40 years until its cancellation on February 25, 2005.

In 1942, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, a casino is organizing a farewell party for its patrons, since it's about to be turned into a US military base. The guests drink, seduce and gossip, but some also plot against each other.

The location of the dividing line between two farms causes friction between two families.

Three women recognize a man at a bar, but disagree on his name. They start telling the stories of how they met him and how he abandoned them.
