Set in the dark depths of a strange and mysterious power supply complex, ELLIOT tells the tale of a conflicted humanoid (Elliot) struggling to maintain his reality and understand his true identity. Elliot is thrust into a disconcerting downward spiral of despair in which he is forced to recognize the perils of his own cognition and constructed ideals in a crumbling universe where the lines between fantasy, simulation, and reality are blurred, and the fibers of Elliot’s fragile existence are ruptured.
Artist Statement: "Lovesick" is an abstract analysis of idealization, objectification, and the Other; a dark fantasy peering into how we view and explore the complex darkness of human sexuality.
Wireboy is a visual representation of cyberspace, sexual desires, over-stimulation, surveillance, identity, depravity, and corruption. Representation of the self and the future that is being born out of media and culture is explored through metaphor using various characters: Wireboy, has a bizarre intimate relationship with a mysterious artist/controller, enslaved monsters, a deformed model, and innocent children who are intrigued by this constructed world which all takes place in a deteriorating cyber reality.
