A pleasant, open-faced young man comes to live in a boarding house with three peculiar women.

Based on motifs from Jurandot and Sart's operetta "Miss Polonia," this musical comedy tells the story of a star of the Opole Festival who tries to make a career in Paris. After winning the Audience Award at the Opole Festival, young singer Mariola leaves for Paris to pursue a career there. However, her performances are not successful. She tries to hide this fact and uses various methods to sign a contract. Her beloved, the young composer Piotr, discovers the truth about her alleged career, while at the same time rejecting offers from a star who is interested in him and wants to promote his songs. Piotr and Mariola return to Warsaw.

A group of chauvinistic men start a Bachelors' Club, but soon they start falling in love with women, threatening the continued existence of the club.

Joanna, the daughter of quite wealthy traders from the Różycki bazaar, is in love with Andrzej, a young, talented, but poor painter. However, the girl's father, Kazimierz Burczyk, decides to find a suitable husband for her himself. A shrewd tradesman, unwilling to disclose his income, searches for a candidate whose professional position would justify his possession of a villa, a car and many other material possessions. In the end, his choice falls on Andrew, who is unsuccessfully trying to sell paintings under the walls of Warsaw's Barbican.

Szymon Kosowski, a handsome and athletic doctor of one of the private clinics in Warsaw, who is the object of sighs among patients and female staff, especially nurses Pati, notices a beautiful and witty corporate employee and roller lover - Basia, which flows into one of the city's fountains. Soon they both fall in love with each other at first sight. Unfortunately, a series of unlucky coincidences causes them to lose contact. From then on, they do everything to find each other. Meanwhile, Basia catches the eye of playboy, the son of wealthy parents, a friend from primary school - Leon Glec, who received an ultimatum from his parents: he will either get married quickly or be disinherited.
