By talking to people who were there; band members, tour managers, authors and musicians from other bands, Mark sheds light on the special circumstances that led to each of the concerts featured, becoming such extraordinary, memorable events. Through Mark’s terrific understanding of songwriting, performance and music history, the viewer is transported on a journey of musical discovery. Viewers get to hear recollections from people who were there, including the fascinating behind-the-scenes circumstances that combined to create these exceptional evenings. 2012 was an epic year for the return of Australian stalwarts Cold Chisel, playing a massive sold out tour and releasing their first studio album, No Plans, in 14 years. There is no better way to commemorate and preserve this period of time by releasing The Live Tapes Vol. 1: Live At The Hordern Pavilion. Hard to believe it’s the first live release since Ringside 10 years ago. 50 Years of Hits. One unforgettable story. Cold Chisel: The Big Five-O Live celebrates five decades of anthems that defined Australian music, from Khe Sanh to Standing On The Outside and Flame Trees. Recorded at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in November 2024 during their massive 50th anniversary tour, this film captures Cold Chisel in peak form - raw, loud, emotional, and still unmatched on stage. High-voltage performances, amplified by a crowd singing every word. Following its broadcast premiere on Channel 7, the double-disc DVD brings the full Cold Chisel concert experience home – with 10 additional songs and over an hour of additional interviews.

Last Stand is a filmed account of the final concert appearance by Australian rock band Cold Chisel. It was filmed on 13 and 15 December 1983 at the Sydney Entertainment Centre, and released to cinemas in July 1984. It was then remixed, re-edited with additional footage and re-released on DVD in October 2005. Set list includes: Standing On The Outside, Cheap Wine, Rising Sun, Janelle, Khe Sanh, Twentieth Century, You Got Nothing I Want, Tomorrow, Star Hotel, Choir Girl, Bow River, Flame Trees, Saturday Night, Wild Thing, Goodbye (Astrid Goodbye) and Don’t Let Go.
