Poor Nastya is a Russian telenovela originally aired from 31 October 2003 to 30 April 2004 on the STS. Based on the imperial setting of the 19th century, the series reached international success and was shown in Ukraine, China, Israel, Serbia, Georgia, Greece, Bulgaria and more than twenty countries worldwide. With the budget of $11,8million, it is the most expensive Russian television project of all time. The sequel was planned, but had not been made yet.

Bim helps Makar any way he can: he chases down criminals, sniffs out drugs hidden in containers. When he gently closes his jaws on a suspect’s hand or another sensitive body part during interrogation, that makes even the most hardened criminals talk. What’s more, the wonder dog even helps Makar in his day-to-day life: he can put laundry in the washer and turn the electric kettle on with his paw.
A young businessman Ruslan Adamov owns the shopping center "Near Happiness" in Antalya. After the death of his wife, Ruslan devoted himself to his son and work and, despite his popularity with girls, does not start a serious relationship. One day, a Russian girl, Nina, appears in his store. Her foster parents' house burned down, and now she desperately needs a job. Having seen the potential in the girl, Ruslan takes her to himself. Nina turns out to be extremely talented: her suggestions surprise Adamov and benefit the business. Young people realize that they are seriously falling in love with each other, but circumstances are playing against them.
