Michael McQuown is an American filmmaker, writer, and producer known for his work in the found-footage and POV horror genres. He is best known as the creator and director of The Dark Tapes (2016), a horror anthology blending science fiction and paranormal themes. McQuown is affiliated with POV Horror, a platform dedicated to found-footage films, and Play Now Media, where he has been involved in developing and distributing independent genre content.
