Mykyta the Fox is the first Ukrainian animated series made in the country since it declared independence. The series is based on the eponymous satirical fairy tale in verse by Ivan Franko. The budget of the series amounted to UAH 10 million. A theatrical pre-release was held at Kinopalats in Kiev on 15 June 2007. The series premiered on TV in 2009 on Pershyi Natsionalnyi after it had been already released on DVD in 2008.

In this series, the Cossacks, fighting off the Evil Pan and his servants, try to bring the stolen salt to the bazaar in order to transfer it to the hands of the rightful owners - the Chumaks.

Prince Ihor is going to confront the enemy army from the Polovtsian Land. The solar eclipse foreshadows the fateful finale of the battle... Epic in content and stylized as Byzantine icons in form, the animation is inspired by Kyiv myths and the masterpiece of ancient Ukrainian lyrics "The Tale of Ihor's Campaign". The film won a special jury prize at the Nyon (Switzerland) festival.

The final episode, released after the fall of the Soviet Union, features the Cossacks as the parents of an entire children’s hockey team. While hosting the Canadian hockey team, they have to thwart their former pirate enemies once again.

Short humorous sketches. The first is called "solid character", and it describes the history of a tough chick, which was brought to a hairdresser for the first time. The second is about the uncomplicated life of a bird, which, however, did not prevent her from publishing own memoirs. The last story, "Fathers and Sons" tells of the relationship of adults and offspring.

This film was shot as a trophy during one of the many inhuman wars. Thanks to unique means of restoration, it was possible to restore footage taken in the Stone Age.

Bunny invites his craven friend Rabbit on an unusual hunt. This time they will be the hunters. The main thing is that the wind blows in their direction. Last time, the Bunny and his friends on such a "hunt" baited the Bear himself!
