One Monday morning, a thousand children leave the suburb of Farsta and go to Stockholm to occupy the Royal Castle. The children have formed a group called S.O.P.O.R. as a protest against the way adults treat them and have destroyed their future. They demand that the robots in the industry are replaced by humans to create job opportunities. They take the royal family as hostages.

In the small working community, the entry in the local newspaper hits like a bomb. The signature "Leif" claims that the town's large arms company Rotum exports weapons illegally. Gunnar Volt, CEO of Rotum, gets a shock. Imagine that someone has the audacity to say that about the community's pride Rotum - even if it now happens to be true. He immediately gathers the management and everyone agrees: Leif must be found - and stopped. But who is this mysterious Leif?

Three friends, Robban, Alexander and Kim has just left the compulsory school, and now they consider themselves grown-up and mature, being 16 years old. During the summer holiday they also get a bit of experience of the world: Robban becomes a full-time drug addict, Alexander plays in a rock band but leaves it and Kim is desperate to get the girl of his dreams.

The restaurateur and womanizer Jerrie meets the guest Sara. A passionate but stormy relationship begins. Sara is not like the other women Jerrie has met. Soon Sara is the boss.

Magni is a farmer who is planning to marry Teresia who comes from a rich family. When his maid Lovisa finds out she gets furious, she has been working for him without pay for 12 years because of vague allusions to marriage, now she wants her pay! She calculates that her back pay is the same as the fortune Teresia would be bringing to the marriage.
